Baby Names...

Looking forward to seeing the votes!! You can vote on more than one name...So choose all the ones you like!
Lots of love!!

AMEN MY FRIENDS AND NOONE SAYS IT QUITE LIKE A BABY.

Here are a few quotes from our good friends "The Hills"

When the economy is on the skids and the world looks uncertain, I take comfort in falling back on the rock solid truths of life. The truths I've come to know are these:
I love College Football.
I love Winning.
And I hate the Gators.
The countdown to Jacksonville is on!

Just when I thought my chores were done...

Well, I have to start out by stating that 2 things in the last few days have really irked me. One, that the boys have decided that my contact solution is a fun new toy and a lingering smell in the kitchen that has been haunting me. I've been trying to sniff down that smell for days, somewhere between the dishwasher and the oven. I've taken out the trash, run the dishwasher, poured cleaning solution down the disposal and wiped down all the counter tops...and the smell lingers. Well...back to tonight. I decide that it's time for the boys to go to bed. Payton did not nap and Logan has been inconsolable for about an hour, but a 7pm bed time makes for a way too early morning (your welcome, honey). So I head to the kitchen to fill the "bups." With the dishes done and only one last load of laundry to fold, I was looking forward to relaxing after the boys went down. As I enter the kitchen I see the crayon box open and spilled on the kitchen floor and as I get closer, I realize my budding artist (aka Payton) has decided to make the kitchen tile his new masterpiece. So I go to the sink and reach underneath for the anti-bacterial wipes telling Payton that he should only color on paper and that he'd have to help Mommy clean up the mess he'd made. Well, Payton wanted nothing to do with the wet wipes (we need to up his sensory therapy that is supposed to be helping with that). It was too much work to make him help me, so I got down on my hands and knees to clean up the scribbles, which lead to more scribbles, and more scribbles, etc, etc, etc. But VICTORY!!! I found that lingering stench!!!!! A bag full of soggy, rotting red potatoes!!! (I have to give thanks to my brilliant husband again, for he told me 2 days before that the kitchen smelled like rotting potatoes.) But my excitement was short lived as I looked up and saw Logan squirting contact solution on the floor...Oh, the joys of being a parent...anybody else want a turn???

Great job Kristy!

Kristy was voted employee of the quarter at her work. Of course as employee of the quarter she gets exclusive use to the Gainey Suites Yacht, a six figure sallary, and a private jet. Ok Ok not really but she did recieve a really cool pin for her uniform and a little extra spending money.

It is well deserved honey, thanks for working so hard for our little family. Oh as employee of the quarter you also get a really cool sign made by the finest artist in Arizona (see below).

Sad day...

For those who haven't heard yet, Granny (Moose's grandma) passed away last night. And although we've been expecting it, it has hit the family hard. Her battle with cancer has been a tough road and I know we all take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is "living the life" in heaven. My favorite memories are baking with her and Faye last Christmas and when Moose and I went to visit her in Alabama. She has taught me that just about everything can be re-used and is not to be thrown away :0) I saved a used sandwich bag the other day and had to smile! We love you Granny and will miss you always.

16 week ultrasound

No luck on finding out the sex yet! We went to my 16 week OB appt and my doctor asked if we'd like to know what we are having, and I of course said yes! So she snuck me in for a quick ultrasound. She said she had just done another ultrasound at 16 weeks and it was definitely a boy so she thought she'd be able to tell us the sex of ours. But no such luck... The baby was moving around a lot and she could only get quick glimpses of..."that area". She could not see any boy parts (Yeah!) but she didn't feel she could strongly say it was a girl either. So, we wait. We have our
next ultrasound at 19 weeks and as long at he/she cooperates, we should know for sure then! We'll keep you all posted! Otherwise, everything looked good and the heatbeat was strong in the 150's. I'm starting to feel pregnant now, as it is becoming harder to hide! Hope everyone is doing well and is healthy!
Oh yeah, if you can't tell, the top picture is the baby looking straight at you and the bottom one is a profile.
