Here are the latest ultrasound pics! He is still a he (sorry Mom!) I don't think I mentioned it during my last baby post, but I am getting so many ultrasounds so they can monitor my placenta previa (or as Moose would call it placentrum primivera). I love you honey, but it was too funny to keep to myself :0) For those who are not doctors, that means the placenta is covering where the baby should come out (to not get too graphic). Ultimately, I could have a C-section but hopefully as the baby grows, the placenta will move. That's what we are praying for. Meanwhile, we get lots of beautiful baby pics to enjoy. So enjoy!

Our "Home Improvements"

Well, we had a rather eventful Sunday. We were watching some TV after cleaning the house, when we heard knocking. We realized it was coming from our bedroom. Payton had been watching a movie in there and had shut and locked the door. He doesn't know how to lock/unlock doors so we took the door handle off, but still couldn't get the lock part out. The hinges were on the inside with Payton, so naturally, the next step was to do this...

Moose shouldered the door open and Payton says "Daddy!" He then looks at the door and says, "Oh no!" Smart kid!

So about an hour later, we decided to rearrange the laundry/storage room so we could get to our Christmas decorations. Moose pulled down the ladder to the attic and climbed up. Leah and I started to hand him boxes. We finally decide we are finished, and Moose started to adjust his weight to get to the ladder, when this happens...

Yep...foot right through the ceiling! We are thankful that it was just a foot and not an emergency room visit!

Scuba Steve (well scuba logan)

All right I will admit it while i love LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE to cook and mainly eat chili, there is nothing i despise more than chopping onions. For whatever reason i am super sensitive to the power of these little critters to the point that i cry like i was watching extreme makeover home edition while getting nose hairs plucked. So my remedy is to wear my snorkle gear while i cut and cook. Ok not the flippers or suit but definitely the mask and tube. Well Logan couldnt stop giggling at me and saying please so i put them on him and he had a blast here are some pictures.

Payton and the power of prayer.

If you all can keep Payton in your prayers we would greatly appreciate it. As many of you know he is having a rough time with his speech and tactile therapy and has a doctors appointment in early december with a doctor who specializes in autism and early childhood illnesses. As some of you know it is very hard t owatch a child struggle and do things that just dont make sense and are sometimes painful to watch.
He always seems to be off playing by him self, is having more and more tantrums in public, and is just socially and especially verbally behind. But the parts that are hard to watch is when he gets a small cut or bug bite he picks them until he is sometimes covered in blood because he doesnt want anything on him (which freaks him out even more because nothing can be on his hands) right now he has 4 bandaids on. He also does this thing where he focuses really hard on an object right in front of his face while squeezing it and tensing his whole body, going crosseyed, and stopping breathing. Today I watched him do it off and on for an hour and a half straight and whenever i would try to get him to stop he would go hide to do it. By 11 this morning he was physically exhausted and just sat on the ground in a small ball. It seems these things are just getting worse instead of better and he has even began linning up his toys on a more frequent basis (see pics below). He is a very very smart kid and one of the sweetest i have ever been around, just say a small prayer for him that maybe we can all start making sense of all this and maybe we can stop the tears for all of us. We have began praying with the kids more often and it is amazing the calming effect it has even on someone this young. Thanks, love you all.
