7 incredible months

Who would have guessed the crazy incredible ride we went on over the last 7 months. Today I am returning to work after 7+ months off. I lost my job the day after our little premie baby Jackson was born and 2 months after Payton was diagnosed as autistic. For 6 months I got to watch my 3 boys grow up which was such a blessing. All in Gods timing has never been more true. Last week is the last week i could file for unemployment before it ran out. "consider it a great joy whenever you experience various trials...but endurance must run its complete course so you may be complete and mature lacking nothing." James 1:2-4
Thank you to all our friends and family who helped keep us sane through these times. The encouraging phone calls, dinners, letters, the anonymous gifts, suprise parties, and all the love we can never thank you enough. And to my wife. ..... I dont know what to say.... I am crying as I write this because I cant even imagine my life with out you. We had great days and terrible days and a whole lot in between and we are still here. We were attacked, attacked physically, mentally, financially, spiritually, and emotionally and after it all, after those nights we just held each other and cried, after the pain and fear and exhaustion; We...WE...WE picked each other up and rose together pronouncing we will not be defatedand that we are still here! We will not be abused and attatcked anymore. And now the end is in sight and there is a new beginning on the horizon. You are my warrior and my strength and I dont know what the future will hold but you can be damn sure whever we go from now on we will can pronounce
Here are some of the pictures from my journey over the last 7 months.

I wasn't going to write this until I read your blog. I watched you this morning as you spent 10 minutes saying good bye to your little men. I knew you must have been a little teary eyed because you were going to miss them. After spending the day with them I see how much improvement they have actually made over the last 7 months. How they have grown socially and with their speech. But I have seen you grow as well. Wow. I am in awe. You also have overcome one of your biggest areas of fear and frustration. Driving. I am so proud of the man you have become!!!!!
